	Fabriquée à partir de 4 morceaux de frène et de 4 morceaux de cèdre rouge de 3/16 " par 3/4".
	Le bois a été chauffé à la vapeur pendant 30 minutes avant d`être plié.
	NOTE: s'assurer qu'il y a un peu de vapeur qui sorte du haut du tuyau. Il ne faut pas que la pièce de tissus qui bouche le tuyau soit trop serrée car la vapeur ne circulera pas et le bois va casser au pliage. C'est ce qui nous est arrivé lorsque nous avons plié l'arrière.
	Le collage des morceaux de l'étrave a été relativement bien mais il y avait de la colle partout.
	Le façonnage de l'armature interne de l'avant et de l'arrière est très délicat parce que le canot est très étroit à l'avant et à l'arrière. Une fois sculpté, la masse en a été réduite d'environ de 3/4. Il faut noter que la pointe n'a que 1/16 de po de large.

	The wood was steamed for 30 minutes before bending.
	NOTE: ensure that there is some vapour that escape from the top of the PVC pipe. The rag that blocks it should not be too tight because the vapour will not circulate along the length of the pipe and the wood will break when bent. This is what happened to us when the rear was bent.
	Gluing of the stem went relatively well but there was glue everywhere.
	The shaping of the stem is a delicate operation because this canoe is very narrow at both ends. Shaping reduces the mass of the inside stem by about 2/3. There is not much wood left. It should be noted that the front end of the stem has to be reduced to 1/16 of an inch in thickness.
